Home of the modeling savants....Celebrating forty years of modeling fun, education, and history in 2025!

Here we have his Eduard P-39N painted with AK 3-D acrylic, Quintas 3-D interior, AML Decals, Ultracast seat, and weathered with Ammo by Mig washes and pastels.  There is no stopping this guy.

And in last place, dead last, is future Hall of Famer, Mark Jahsan!  Hey, it just worked out that way!  Here we have his 1/25 MPC Malco Gasser ’67 Mustang driven by Ohio George Montgomery.  This kit was reissued by Round 2 and was painted with Tamiya Pear Light Blue.  Proves once again, it doesn’t matter what subject matter he models, it is always perfection!

That Seekman guy was back with three beautiful aircraft models.  They are all 1/48 and the first is his Tumpeter A3D-2 Skywarrior.  Sorry about the probe thingy…Tom’s truck hit it while driving away!
It was painted with Gunze Mr. Color, steel beach seats (never heard of them!), resin wheels, Furball decals, weathered with Ammo by Mig washes and pastels.  The A3D stands for All Three Dead thanks to the downward ejecting seats.  Awesome job Mr. Seekman.

In 1/100 scale, we have two Flames of War tanks: the Jagdpanzer IV 70.  He drilled out the gun barrels, added cast texture with Tamiya putty, painted with Tamiya  and Vallejo, weathered and  washed with oils.  Great job!

We will start with our incredible young modeler, Spencer Kosc.  He brought in three amazing models.  First, we have his waterline 1/700 Hasegawa Asashimo destroyer.  It was built OOB, painted with Tamiya and weathered with oils.  The flag was painted on aluminum foil and the rigging is Ezline.  Boy, those destroyers were long and thin!  Sweet!

Oops!  Jody Dunning didn’t submit a data sheet so he was accidentally overlooked.  This is the Revell Hot Rod Radical J-Z 2000…AKA Rick Dobbertin’s Radical  Pontiac Pro/Street.  It was built by Jody’s late Uncle who obviously knew what he was doing!

Man, there were some great models this month!  See you in two weeks!

Oh dear.  Something went wrong.  Tom Miller is going to hate me more than normal.  The image is fuzzy…appears something moved.  How??  Maybe the truck was trying to drive off?  Yeah, that’s it.  Sorry, Tom!
This is the 1/35 Chevy US Army truck G7117.  Tom built it OOB and used Ammo paint.  Tom said it was a great kit.  It looked amazing in person…in the photo…not so much.  Damn Tom said it was a great kit.

Here is his 1/48 Accurate Miniatures P-51A painted with Tamiya in the experimental camo splinter scheme.  The seatbelts are Tamiya tape and the antenna wire is Ez-line.  Love that paint job!

The President made a spectacular appearance with his 1/25 Rick Stout IMCA Modified.  Scratchbuilt frame, body, and interior.  Has working steering and suspension.  Engine is wired and plumbed.  He hand painted the numbers and sponsors.  It won first place at the 2007 Pasta and Plastic and was on the cover of the January 2008 Model Cars Magazine.  This guy is so good it makes me sick!

This is ICM’s OV-10A painted with Hataka Orange Line lacquer, Qunitas 3-D printed interior, Quickboost exhausts and seats, AoA decals, and weathered with Ammo by Mig washes and pastels.  So good.
